Ruth Ige
The Evocation of Worlds

The Evocation of Worlds brings together a powerful new body of work by Ruth Ige, the 2025 Rydal Prize winner. The exhibition explores memory, mythology and identity through richly layered paintings that evoke imagined worlds.

The Crackling of the Sun
Group Show

The Crackling of the Sun is a dynamic group exhibition bringing together nine artists, from Aotearoa and abroad, whose works are shaped by myth, speculative storytelling, and futuristic worldmaking – a series of proposals for other worlds.

Jeena Shin & Jamie Te Heuheu
Moving through time

Moving through time presents a dialogue between two painters, Jeena Shin and Jamie Te Heuheu, exploring gesture, rhythm and the passage of time through two distinct yet complementary painting practices.

Light snacks will be provided by Florets Bakery and The Modern Preserver, with beverages by Black Sands Beer, Everyday Wine, and Almighty. We look forward to welcoming you.
