Liquid States
Gretchen Albrecht is one of Aotearoa’s most celebrated painters. Over the course of her distinguished career since the 1960s, she has pursued the depths of painting, focusing on an experiential intersection of colour, movement, and form.
Liquid States
is a major survey exhibition examining works produced by Albrecht in the 1970s and 1980s as embodiments of liquidity with fluid stylistic parameters.
This exhibition is made possible with the support of Te Uru Benefactors Collective (TBC), Lopdell Trust, and Two Rooms.

The Portage Ceramic Awards is an annual celebration of contemporary ceramics in Aotearoa. The award was established in 2001 and embraces the rich history of pottery in West Auckland. Turumeke Harrington (b. 1992 , Kāi Tahu, Rangitāne) is a sculptor, jeweller, and installation artist. Her work engages with ideas of whakapapa, materiality, and space through the construction of large-scale sculptural installations which sit at the intersection of fine art and spatial design.
