In 2027, the trifecta of European art events comes together in one extraordinary cultural moment. To make the most of this rare opportunity Te Uru presents The Grand German Art Tour 2027. A unique 12-day journey, through three of the world’s most influential contemporary art events —Berlin Biennale, documenta, and Skulptur Projekte Münster—a remarkable convergence that is happening for the first time ever.

The 14th Berlin Biennale is curated by Vasyl Cherepanyn, the Ukrainian curator and writer whose practice explores the intersections of contemporary art, political thought, and civic engagement. Renowned for its bold and timely exhibitions, the Berlin Biennale offers a compelling snapshot of the most urgent ideas shaping contemporary art today.

documenta 16 is led by Artistic Director Naomi Beckwith (Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum), whose internationally respected practice examines the global histories and futures of contemporary art through new and inclusive perspectives. Presented only once every five years, documenta transforms Kassel into one of the world’s most influential destinations for contemporary art, celebrated for its ambitious scale, intellectual rigour, and lasting impact on the international art world.

Skulptur Projekte Münster 2027 is curated by the internationally acclaimed Croatian collective WHW (What, How & for Whom), whose collaborative curatorial practice is renowned for foregrounding dialogue, experimentation, and the social role of art. Held only once every ten years, Skulptur Projekte Münster transforms the city into an extraordinary open-air exhibition, inviting visitors to discover ambitious site-specific commissions woven throughout the urban landscape.

Designed for a small group of art enthusiasts this carefully curated tour offers an intimate opportunity to experience some of the most significant exhibitions and artistic practices in the world while discovering Germany’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant contemporary life. Travelling by rail between these internationally celebrated events, guests will also enjoy world-class public galleries, visits to artists’ studios, encounters with Germany’s layered history, and exceptional culinary experiences along the way.
