Presented alongside the video work of Fatma Bucak 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵 (2025), 𝘉𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘪𝘯 is a new live opera performance that expands on the themes of environmental and political tension.
 
The libretto, written by Bucak, reflects noise pollution caused by Fighting Falcon jets, which have led to the displacement of both humans and wildlife in the Dersim Mountains. The sound composition, created in collaboration with Bahar Royaee, draws on a speech Bucak wrote about the impact of military aircraft on the landscape and its inhabitants.

Performed by Chelsea Prastiti, the opera gives voice to the sonic violence of the region, echoing the tension between presence and disappearance that shapes the terrain and those who live within it.
