Differences in kind and rhythm is a major two-person exhibition with senior Italian artist Giorgio Griffa (b.1936, Turin) and Aotearoa artist Peter Robinson (b.1966, Ashburton). The exhibition charts formal and conceptual relationships between the work of these artists, locating parallel interests in states of becoming, temporality, and material agency via their respective practices of painting and sculpture.
Margherita Data is from Turin, Italy and is currently pursuing an MA in Art Curating and Management at RUFA in Rome. She has published in Mob Journal and worked in a variety of art contexts, including Galleria GliAcrobati in Turin and Warlukurlangu Art Center in Yuendumu, Australia.
