Changing Tides Hydrogrossular Garnet Taonga Pendant

Aroha Te Kahika is a Ngai Tahu artisan carver based in Waimārama, Hawke's Bay. He collects all his stones in Te Waipounamu the South Island and blesses each one. These beautiful Taonga Pounamu are hand-carved in a variety of shapes inspired by the ngahere (forest) and the moana (ocean).

Grossular Garnet, sometimes called Hydrogrossular, is a beautiful green form of garnet that carries the energy of fresh growth and renewal. This stone was found in Hokitika.
