Changing Tides Inanga Pounamu Pendant

Aroha Te Kahika is a Ngai Tahu artisan carver based in Waimārama, Hawke's Bay. He collects all his stones in Te Waipounamu the South Island and blesses each one. These beautiful Taonga Pounamu are hand-carved in a variety of shapes inspired by the ngahere (forest) and the moana (ocean).

Inanga pounamu is a highly prized variety of New Zealand greenstone. Named after the native whitebait fish (inanga), it features pale, pearly-white, greyish-green, or silvery hues with varying translucency.
