Join I Just Like to Draw artist Avatar Singh for an informal, hands-on drawing workshop open to all ages and skill levels. In this relaxed public session, participants will work side-by-side with the artist, using found imagery from National Geographic magazines as a shared starting point.

Rather than focusing on technical perfection, the workshop explores observation, interpretation, and the unexpected possibilities that emerge when images are re-seen through drawing. Together you’ll slow down, look closely, crop, distort, repeat, and translate photographic material into personal mark-making

All materials will be provided, and no prior drawing experience is required. This is an opportunity to experiment, play, and think through images collectively: a space for curiosity, attention, and making without pressure.

Come for five minutes or stay the whole time, just bring your eyes and your willingness to look again.
