For Open Studios Waitakere, Te Uru is hosting a free Squiggla family drop-in event, open to all ages. Squiggla is a creative based learning application, developed by the Chartwell Trust to promote creativity through the exploration of mark-making. Squiggling is a type of free-form drawing, which allows your imagination and instincts to take over. This will be a unique opportunity to meet artist Judy Millar, who is a master of experimental mark-making. Play with lines, dots and squiggles to help create a one-off collaborative work, and learn how to upload your images onto the Squiggla gallery. The App is free to download and encourages non-judgemental play.
